Co-Op FAQ

  • A homeschool co-op is a collaborative and community-based educational approach where families come together to share resources, expertise, and social experiences. At The Village Co-Op, we emphasize building a supportive community for diverse beliefs, gender orientations, and ethnicities. Our co-op provides a platform for shared learning, activities, and fostering a sense of community among homeschooling families.

  • Currently, our main co-op is located in Utah, meeting in the Draper/Lehi area, and exploring various parts of Utah and Salt Lake County. To stay updated on our co-op meetups, we encourage you to join our Facebook group or register for events listed on our calendar.

  • Yes, starting mid-2024, we are excited to announce the opening of applications for individuals interested in becoming Village Co-Op Group Leaders. If there isn't a Village Co-Op group in your area or if you wish to start one with your own unique approach, the first step is to sign up on our pre-registration form. These groups operate autonomously, led by local volunteers, and to be recognized as an official Village Co-Op group, there are specific requirements. Upon pre-registering, we will contact you with details, which include undergoing a background check, aligning with our values, and more. We look forward to extending our community to new locations with dedicated leaders like you!
