At The Village Co-Op, we believe in inclusivity. While our Microschool caters to K-6th grade, families with children of all ages are warmly welcomed to attend our Co-Op’s events. Bring along younger siblings, and let the whole family join in on the enriching and fun experiences.

Our co-op is more than just a gathering – it's a community effort. Currently, our main co-op group is run by dedicated Village Leaders. Within this group, Aunties, Families, and Uncles volunteer to host, plan activities, and contribute supplies, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and camaraderie. Additionally, to help cover the cost of supplies, there is a small affordable fee to attend our co-op gatherings, ensuring sustainability and accessibility for all.

Our meet-ups cover a spectrum of educational domains, including mindfulness, art, science, life skills, and cultural celebrations. Engage in mindful moments, unleash creativity through art in the park, dive into scientific experiments with outdoor STEM challenges, acquire practical life skills through interactive activities and celebrate diversity with cultural events. Each session is crafted to foster a love for learning and provide a holistic approach to education that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries.

A crucial aspect of having a village for us is collaborating with our community and small local businesses to craft engaging, hands-on experiences with the world. Our field trips are a testament to this collaborative spirit, featuring delightful adventures such as private tours at apple orchards, invigorating hikes, thrilling rock climbing excursions, and afternoons filled with captivating science projects conducted in a private Science Lab. These excursions are seamlessly integrated into our microschool curriculum, and as space allows, we extend these opportunities to families in our co-op. It's more than just a trip; it's a chance for our village to come together, connect, and grow through shared experiences.
