Every day is intetnionaly & thoughtfully planned out, where we focus on embracing the spirit of autonomy and empowering our learners to be leaders.

  • At The Village Microschool, students collaborate with teachers to decide how much time to dedicate to projects. While we start and end school at consistent times, we prioritize individualized learning. If students are engrossed in a science project, we won't interrupt for another subject; instead, we'll collaborate quickly and continue where the passion for learning lies. Our creative teachers seamlessly integrate reading, writing, math, and social studies into projects, emphasizing the importance of planning and managing time—a vital life skill that students develop at our school. Our student-centered approach promotes hands-on experiences, autonomy, leadership, and joyful learning, and please be aware that our flexible schedule may change to accommodate dynamic needs and exciting educational opportunities.

  • We start with intentional mornings, creating a welcoming, slow, calm, relaxed environment. Learners set goals for the day, engage in breath work, stretching, and meditation, emphasizing social and emotional learning & regulation.
